97th SPOB Inland Oil Barge Launched with Pertamina Approval

We Galron Group are thrilled to announce the successful launch of our 97th inland oil barge (SPOB), meticulously built in conjunction with local Indonesian shipyard experts, naval architects, and qualified engineers, under the supervision of experienced surveyors. This project proudly received PT Pertamina (Persero) Safety Approval, making it well-suited to navigate Indonesia’s waters, rivers, and ports.
With an increased capacity of 1,500 KL with low draught, this barge combines maneuverability with the versatility to operate in diverse port conditions. It is designed with state-of-the-art technology, featuring a double hull and double bottom construction, and is equipped with a mass flowmeter system for precise monitoring of oil loading and discharge, all integrated with our headquarters for real-time data oversight.

• The addition of a scrubber system ensures compliance with emission standards, aligning with the Indonesian BKI (Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia) class requirements.
• Powered by a Yanmar engine, renowned for its durability and quality, this barge exemplifies our commitment to excellence.
• Impressively, the entire project was *completed and delivered within seven months*, ready for immediate bunkering operations.
• Additional high-tech features include an advanced radar, GPS system, and AIS system to ensure optimal navigation and safety.
